The Minsk-Classic orchestra, as well as the concert host and conductor Maxim Rassokha, present a joyful, vibrant and summer-like light concert “Animal Carnival” on August 26 in the Upper Town Concert Hall.
A large number of composers all over the world at all times addressed the theme of «animal world». We collected the most striking works in one concert: “Flight of the Bumblebee” by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, “Dance of the Little Swans” by P. Tchaikovsky, Minuet “The Bull” by J. Haydn, “The Dog Waltz” by F. Chopin, Polka “ Cuckoo ”by I. Strauss,“ The Duet of Cats ”by J. Rossinny and others. However, the central place of the concert will be played by a humorous, ironic and even satirical Zoological fantasy — the“ Carnival of Animals ”suite by French composer Camille Saint-Saens.

The VII open-air festival of silent films and contemporary music “Kinemo” will be held in Minsk from June 13 to July 11. For five whole evenings in the courtyard of the museum-workshop of Azgur will show silent films of world cinema classics in the dubbing of Belarusian and foreign musicians.

Chamber Music Concert to the 85th anniversary of the Belarusian Union of Composers. February 27, 2019.
In our country there are so many talented musicians. However, talented, memorable composers — probably, like everywhere else, not very much. But I was lucky — I know many of them. Some of them started their activities when I was not even born, but there are also quite young composers. Alexandra Danshova is a young but already known worldwide composer whose work includes chamber, vocal, choral, instrumental music; music for theater, cinema; pop music; music for children. Very nice and close for me in spirit was the performance of her Piece «To the Time».

Für die Tiroler Festspiele Erl bildete das Abschlusskonzert am 6. Jänner 2019 im ausverkauften Haus den Ausklang außerordentlich erfolgreicher Winterfestspiele. Den Publikumsreaktionen zu Folge ist es dem Intendanten Andreas Leisner gelungen, die Vision der Festspiele aufzugreifen und diese gleichzeitig in eine neue Zeit zu tragen.
Über 240 Künstlerinnen und Künstler haben an dem vielfältigen Programm mitgewirkt, und das begeisterte Publikum hat es ihnen bei jeder einzelnen Vorstellung mit anhaltendem Applaus gedankt. „Ich bin überwältigt von den vielen positiven Rückmeldungen und der Begeisterung unserer Besucherinnen und Besucher. Wir hatten vier erfolgreiche Premieren in fünf Tagen, eine Uraufführung, die bis auf den letzten Platz ausverkauft war und Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die sich hier sehr wohl gefühlt haben – was will man als künstlerischer Leiter mehr“, freut sich Andreas Leisner.

The girl’s name is Olga Petrova. It turned out she was from Ukraine. As is known, Ukraine and Belarus are neighbors. We met and talked after the concert very soulfully. Damit hätte wohl keiner gerechnet. Denn wenn man zu einem „Bridges – Musik verbindet“-Konzert kommt, weiß man, da spielen viele afrikanische, arabische und asiatische Musiker mit, die für uns oft fremd klingende Instrumente ihr Eigen nennen und gerne auch Kompositionen aus ihrem Kulturkreis vorstellen. Und dann beginnt der lange wie kurzweilige Abend im hr-Sendesaal mit dem „Divertimento Nr. 11 in D“ von Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
